Toss: South Africa have won the toss and elected to bat

AB de Villiers: ‘We will bat first. It looks like a good deck. The wicket does not look all that bad. The quality of our seamers ensure that we will extract good bounce. We will like to keep the consistency going. David Miller replaces Faf du Plessis. We were tempted to play Morne Morkel but all the players have been playing well.’

Misbah-ul-Haq: ‘It is just a matter of giving away too many runs in the first 10 overs. I hope that this wicket suits our bowlers. It looks rough. Morale is good but it is tough been away from home for close to two and a half months. Imran Farhat replaces Nasir Jamshed.’

South Africa (Playing XI): Graeme Smith, Hashim Amla, Colin Ingram, AB de Villiers(w/c), David Miller, Farhaan Behardien, Ryan McLaren, Robin Peterson, Rory Kleinveldt, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe

Pakistan (Playing XI): Imran Farhat, Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal(w), Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq(c), Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan

Pitch Report: There is a wind blowing from the North-East and thus there will be no swing. There is no grass on this deck. It has been trimmed and it has been rolled on. There will not be much turn on this pitch. It is a batting paradise.
