Kohli started of pretty well but for the nth time holed out to long off. A big contribution was required from him but he has failed yet again. He seems to perform only against weak teams like West Indies in the Champions Trophy.
Raina also flopped today, he also does well only in IPL or against weak opposition. Both these players also havent shown an ability to play big innings. Scoring hundreds is very important in ODIs, if one batsman in the team gets a big score the team will also get a very good score as the others can play around him.
In the current team only Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvraj have the ability to score big hundreds. Gambhir is getting there, but Kohli and Raina are way of the mark at the present moment.
