Australia despite getting starting off very well failed to deliver again. Ponting, White and Hussey played good innings but were not able to convert it into big score. Indian fielding has improved a lot in today’s game. India picked up four run outs today and this proved how best they have fielded.

India slipped down while chasing a target of 251 runs in 50 overs. Sehwag started off the innings very oacy but he did not last long. Tendulkar was playing calm and steadily in his hunt for 47 runs to get past the 17K runs mark but he too fall short of 7 runs. None of the batsman played a holding partnership and India slipped for 226 in 46.4 overs.
