Full highlights of the 1996 World Cup between India and Pakistan. This game is a classic, not just because its India vs Pakistan in a World Cup. First Navjot Singh Sidhu played a brilliant innings of 93, but it was Ajay Jadeja’s 25 ball 45 that really pushed the score to 287. In those 25 balls Jadeja practically slaughtered Waqar Younis.

If all this was not enough Pakistan , Saeed Anwar and Aamer Sohail, started the chase brilliantly, scoring 84 of the first 10 overs. In the 15th over with Sohail, on top off Indian bowling and having just hit a boundary, lost his cool and said to Venkatesh Prasad that he will hit him for four again in the same region. Prasad replied by dismissing Sohail of the very next ball, from here on the game was always going to be India’s.
