• Sreesanth to Paranavitana, OUT! India have the break through. Sreesanth made him reach for this one outside the off stump. Paranavitana was chasing but got an outside edge straight to the keeper.

• Sri Lanka lost 3rd wicket in 34th over – 3-101 Kumar Sangakkara (33.4 ov)
• Sreesanth to Sangakkara, OUT! Now the skipper goes. This was full and angled away from Sangakkara. He was looking to drive through the off side but got an inside edge and the ball crashed into his stumps.

• Sri Lanka lost 4th wicket in 38th over – 4-111 Thilan Samaraweera (37.2 ov)
• Sreesanth to Samaraweera, OUT! Bowled him. Another one from Sreesanth just outside off kept low after pitching. Samaraweera was slow in getting his bat down and got an inside egde onto the stumps.
• Sri Lanka lost 5th wicket in 44th over – 5-134 Angelo Mathews (43.5 ov)
• H Singh to A Mathews, OUT! Singh strikes straight away. This one was pitched on a length and Mathews was playing for the turn but the ball went straight on and clipped the top of off stump.

• Sreesanth to R Herath, OUT! Bowled him. Sreesanth came back over the wicket and produced a length delivery that pitched on leg and straightened, beating the bat and clipping the top of off stump.

• P Ojha to Muralidaran, OUT! LBW! Full length delivery just outside off. Muralidaran played forward but failed to make contact with the ball and was hit plumb in front. Umpire Hill had no hesitation in declaring Muralidaran OUT. Sri Lanka have lost their ninth wicket for 219.
• Sri Lanka lost 10th wicket in 84th over – 10-229 Chanaka Welegedara (84 ov)
• H Singh to Welegedara, OUT! Singh pushed this one quicker through the air and striking Welegedara low on the pads, deep in his crease. Singh was certain he had his man and the Umpire confirmed the same. That ends Sri Lanka’s first innings.

• Sri Lanka lost 1st wicket in 4th over – 1-13 Tillakaratne Dilshan (3.3 ov)
• Sreesanth to Dilshan, OUT! Sreesanth strikes again. A gem of a delivery which pitched on a length and swung away slightly. Dilshan was looking for the drive but got an outside edge straight to Dhoni.
• Drinks: Sri Lanka – 35/1 in 10.0 overs
• Sri Lanka lost 2nd wicket in 11th over – 2-37 Tharanga Paranavitana (10.5 ov)
• Sehwag to Paranavitana, OUT! LBW! Full length delivery on middle. Paranavitana played back and was hit on the back pad. Umpire Llong raises the dreaded finger. Sri Lanka have lost their second wicket for 37.
• Sri Lanka 50/2 in 17.0 overs
• Sri Lanka lost 3rd wicket in 19th over - 3-54 Mahela Jayawardena (18.3 ov)
• P Ojha to J’dena, OUT! Sangakkara came down the track and played this straight towards mid-on and took off for a single. Y. Singh got a quick return towards Dhoni with J’dena well short of his crease.
• Sri Lanka lost 4th wicket in 20th over – 4-54 Kumar Sangakkara (19.1 ov)
• H Singh to Sangakkara, OUT! And just as you think Sangakkara has played one onto the stumps in very similar fashion to his dismissal earlier in the day. Sri Lanka lose their fourth and are staring down at defeat.
