Here comes the 1st semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 with Australia battling against the England. Its a rejoining for both the teams as they have recently encountered themselves in last few months and know pretty much about each other. Australia who is back in winning form will be happy that they have managed to get back in the ICC tournament semi-final match after being knocked out too early in the ICC T20 World Cup earlies this year. England with their forms in the home no one would have imagined that they will come so far in the tournament.
Australia will be looking forward to refresh the memories of 6-1 win against the England but England say that the result doesn’t matter. Just when the team landed in South Africa its an all together different game and they will be looking to take the revenge. Australia seems to be the favorite but England team would be happy as they don’t have to face the Pakistan with the spin and pace attack at the Centurion. Its not that Australian bowling attack is easy to handle, its just that both teams know each other very well now so they will be giving tough fight.
