New Zealand which started the tournament with loss against the South Africa bounced back in the next two games and won the games against the Sri Lanka and England. After a tough time this year Kiwis came back well in the tournament. Firstly they lost the series against the India and then the series against the Sri Lanka. They were also knocked out of the ICC T20 World Cup this year. But this team really need to be appreciated for their all round performance. They lost some main players with each passing game but still they keep up with their momentum and fought quite confidently. This is the D-Day they have been waiting for long and they have to face the Aussies in the Finale.
Australia also had a rough last few tournament and they also stood up very well. They lost the Ashes 2009 but took the revenge from England by winning the & ODI series by 6-1. They were knocked out too early in the ICC T20 World Cup this year but they did not loose their hopes to get back to the winning momentum. Its the final encounter of the Tournament and with the form Aussies are in it looks like Kiwis will be having hard time to control the Aussies attack. Both team want to win the title and will be giving a tough fight.
