Australia is back in their form and are hungry for acquiring their no. 1 spot again. They won the series against the England by 6-1 and now looking forward to win the Champions Trophy as well. Brett Lee back in squad has helped the team a lot and with his consistent performance in every match Aussies seems to be getting back into their winning mode. In their first encounter of the Champions trophy 09 they will be facing West Indies which are very much depleted.

West Indies team is facing internal board issues because of which they have come up with a inexperience side. They fought well in the last match against the Pakistan. Despite losing early wickets and was a low scoring match but their bowling was quite well. They took up 5 wickets and at one stage it was looking that it might be difficult for the Pakistan to taste their first win. Tonge bowled brilliant with a spell of 10-3-25-4. So he may create problems for the Aussies as well. Not a much hyped game but still you can enjoy it.
