Pakistan team are on their dream run this year. Firstly they won the ICC T20 World Cup 2009 and now they are heading towards the Semi-Final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009. They have showed consistent performance in the recent past. Despite loosing the series against the Sri Lanka they came back well in the game. The bowling has been steady and consistent along with their batting. They need to focus and keep going like this to make to the finals against the Australians.
New Zealand on the other hand also stood up well in the tournament. They too lost the series against the Sri Lanka but took the revenge by knocking them out of the tournament. They have some major worries in their camp. Some of the key players are inured and this will definitely hamper their performance. During their must-win game against England, Grant Elliot joined Jacob Oram, Jesse Ryder and Daryl Tuffey on the injured list, and Scott Styris has been flown in as a stand-by.This is a big game for both the teams and with so much happening in the kiwis camp Pakistan look to be favorites. Kiwis got chance if somehow they wins the toss and put Pakistan to bat at the Wanderers, then it could be a different game all together.
Stay tuned to catch up with all the updates, highlights and more…
