Here comes the next exciting one-day series of the year. Pakistan and New Zealand last faced each other few month back in the Champions Trophy 2009 Semi-Final. New Zealand won the match and kicked off the Pakistanis out of the tournament. So it will be quite interesting to see these two teams fight for the no. 4 position of the ICC ODI Rankings.
Pakistan and New Zealand both have some inside team issues and now they need to keep them aside and play some wonderful cricket. New Zealand team will not be having any coach with them and Pakistan coach, Intikhab Alam, is more a manager than a modern-day coach. So this will be very first time that both the team are playing a coach-less tournament. It will be interesting to see whether Pakistan will be able to pull off the kiwis and take their revenge.
New Zealand team still lacks their key players due to injury. Daryl Tuffey, Jesse Ryder and Grant Elliott are injured since the Champions Trophy and a little bit of good news is Scott Styris is back, as is Jacob Oram. Kyle Mills still having injury so Tim Southee will be playing in for him. Pakistan on other side have well maintained side that can deliver their best. No injury worries for them and looks like a great competition coming up ahaead.
