India vs Australai : Melbourne 1981 : Sunil Gavaskar is really after being wrongly given lbw.
Sunil Gavaskar, the captain of the Indian team at that time, is so angry at the decision that he decides to take his opening partner with him, he does not wish to continue the game. His teammates and coach cooled him down, and the match continued. India went on to win the game by dismissing Australia for 83 in the final innings, while they were chasing 143. Kapil Dev took 5 wickets in that innings. Its said that Gavaskar’s protest for the wrong lbw decision really fired up the Indians and it was a major factor in winning the game.
