So Pakistan has made it to a second final in a row in ICC World Twenty20! Great achievement from a side which has not played much cricket in the last two years. Pakistan as a country itself is facing a lot of problems, and this victory and possibly the eventual victory in the finals will bring a great joy to the people.
Coming in to this world cup Pakistan were the biggest outsiders. But Shaid Afridi came good at the crucial point. In the semi final match against South Africa he batted well ( which he has not done in a long time ) and then he bowled well ( which he has been doing regularly ).
All in all a great victory for Pakistan. They stopped the best team in the world in their tracks, South Africa was also unbeaten in this World Cup.
Congratulations to the Pakistan team and the people of Pakistan!
